LEIF PAGROTSKY
ACTIVE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD MEMBER
Leif Pagrotsky is presently serving on several boards, including Chairman of the board of two real estate companies Husvärden and Vitartes-Intea Holding, Beckmans College of Design (Chairman) and SBAB Bank AB.
He has been Chairman of the Swedish Trade and Invest Council Business Sweden and of Business Region Göteborg, and member of the boards of the Stockholm Stock Exchange, Avanza Pension AB and The National Theatre of Norway.
Pagrotsky was a cabinet-level Minister in the Swedish government for ten years 1996-2006, including Minister for Industry and Trade, and Minister for Education, Research and Culture. He was also a Minister for Nordic and Baltic Affairs 1997-2002. He served as a Member of Parliament between 2006-2012. He was Vice chairman of the Council of the Riksbank (the central bank of Sweden) between 2006-2011 and between 2016-2018 he served as Consul General of Sweden in New York.

Before his political career he held several high-ranking posts in the Ministry of Finance, including State Secretary for Financial Affairs, Head of Division for Financial and Fiscal Affairs and has served as Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Qualifications:
Pagrotsky holds a Bachelor of Arts, a MBA and a Master of Political Science from the University of Gothenburg.
